Smart stove monitoring for greater safety in the kitchen

The stove monitor continuously monitors the cooktop and detects dangerous temperature developments at an early stage. In critical situations, the system first issues an audible warning and, if necessary, automatically switches off the stove. This reliably prevents kitchen fires before smoke or open flames can occur. The system is suitable for almost all electric cooktops, easy to retrofit, and particularly useful for private households, seniors’ apartments, and assisted living arrangements. In addition, the stove monitor is recognized as a care aid—under certain conditions, cost coverage or funding through long-term care insurance is therefore possible.

Do you have any questions about our stove guard system?

How does the stove guard work in general?

The stove guard continuously monitors the cooktop using temperature and thermal sensors. Critical temperature increases or unusual heat patterns are detected at an early stage. The goal is to identify typical hazards such as forgotten stovetop burners and prevent kitchen fires as they start—before smoke or open flames occur.

What exactly happens in the event of an emergency?

As soon as a potential hazard is detected, an audible warning at high volume is issued first. If the user does not respond, the system actively intervenes: via the control unit, the power supply to the stove is automatically cut off. This effectively and reliably eliminates the risk of a fire.

What advantages does the stove guard offer over conventional smoke detectors in the kitchen?

Smoke detectors are often unsuitable in kitchens because they react too late or trigger false alarms. The stove guard acts much earlier: it detects dangerous situations right at the source — the cooktop — and actively prevents fires. This not only avoids property damage, but also sustainably increases the safety of residents.
